Lisa Awazu Wellman

Lisa is a Senior Design Architect at AFW, formerly known as Andy Fisher Workshop. She received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Syracuse University and has over 12 years of architecture design experience in Japan, the Us, Cuna, and Singapore. Her expertise ranges from commercial, hospitality, education, and mixed-use high-nise, working in all design stages from concept to completion. Eastern and Western design influences her work, balancing design excellence and pragmatic thinking. She has a strong commitment to community work and advocacy programs within the architecture industry. This includes her contribution to AlA Chapters in Seattle and Shanghai for the Urban Design Forum Committee and Education Committee, respectively. She is also passionate about livable urbanism, cultural heritage, sustainability, and inclusivity in our built environment.
